Residents in Ealing can now use a new app to quickly and easily access all manner of information about recycling in the borough.
The @Home app delivers local information on the council’s rubbish and recycling collections and allows you to:
• See details of rubbish and recycling services provided at your address
• See your next collection date
• Receive free reminders for your collection day
• Get information on what you can and can’t recycle
• Find your nearest recycling centre.
Councillor Bassam Mahfouz, cabinet member for transport environment and leisure said: “The @Home recycling app provides a simple and quick way to do everything from checking your next collection date to finding out what household waste is recyclable.
“Ealing currently recycles more than half of its household waste, making it one of the top performing boroughs in London. We want to make it as easy as possible for local people to recycle and improve even more in the future. I encourage residents to go online and download the app to ensure they have all the information on their rubbish and recycling collections at the touch of a button.”
Download the app for free from the Apple store or from Google Play to help keep Ealing’s recycling rates on the rise. You can also find it by searching ‘@home – collection reminder’ in your app store.
