Ealing Council is offering to help residents build the skills they need to start their own business with a free course, in collaboration with the Pop-up Business School.
The course has a track record of inspiring entrepreneurs and aims to encourage local people to turn their passions into businesses. This one-week workshop will show residents how to start a business with no money, build a website for free, and provide advice on sales and marketing, finding customers, managing social media and understanding taxes, company structure and legal challenges.
Councillor Jasbir Anand, the council’s cabinet member for business and community services, said: “As part of our commitment to opportunities and living incomes, we want to ensure all residents are making the most of the economic opportunities in the borough.
