Small grants for voluntary organisations supporting local people

Ealing Council, in partnership with West London NHS Trust, are awarding £100,000 in small grants for voluntary and community groups delivering projects which benefit the local community.

The council is keen to receive grant applications from hard to reach groups and projects that have a mental health or wellbeing focus. Support is available for the application process.

Projects that will benefit the community

The small grants programme will make awards of up to £5,000 for the financial year 2021-22, to not-for-profit organisations who are working to support Ealing residents.

The focus will be on supporting projects which will benefit the local community, examples of which might include arts and cultural events and activities, intergenerational projects, health and self-care support groups, exercise and healthy walks, horticultural, environmental projects and initiatives to tackle digital exclusion.

Councillor Jasbir Anand, lead cabinet member for thriving communities said:

“We are keen to receive applications from hard to reach groups in our community that have ideas and initiatives for projects that will transform local people’s lives.

“The successful projects that will be funded will be local, led by local people and organisations, meeting the needs of local people to improve lives, health and wellbeing in our neighbourhoods.”

“If you are a community or voluntary group and you have a project idea you would like to develop, or if you need advice on the application process, please get in touch. We want to hear from you.”
