Let us introduce you to Steps4success – a new online employment support programme, with additional help for single parents, young people and care leavers.
The programme is designed to help those having difficulties with health, housing or accessing training and employment to improve their skills and find a job.
About Steps4success
It aims to improve your employment opportunities, provide you with skills and training and hopefully help you to find a job. The programme will be delivered for a minimum of 12 weeks and will take place online.
What to expect?
- Personalised action plan and budgeting help
- Careers information, advice and guidance
- Interview, CV and cover letter support
- Help with searching and applying for jobs
- Webinars and training sessions.
Who is the programme for?
To take part in the programme you must be:
- Aged 18+
- An Ealing resident. Priority will be given to those from Acton, Greenford, Southall and Northolt
- Currently receiving Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) benefits
- Not participating in any other DWP or Jobcentre Plus-funded programmes.
How to take part?
Speak to your Jobcentre Plus work coach and they will refer you. If you have any questions, you can email us on Steps4Success@ealing.gov.uk.

Good jobs for Ealing
Ealing’s Plan for Good Jobs is the council’s action plan that sets out the short-term actions that are needed to help Ealing’s economy recover from the pandemic. The plan sets out a number of key priorities for the council and its partners including helping residents into gainful employment by making it easier for them to find jobs, retrain and develop new skills for growth sector employment. Focus will also be on protecting and nurturing existing businesses and encouraging local employers to work with the council to create good jobs.
Ealing’s Plan for Good Jobs is the council’s commitment to help the borough get back on its feet and create a sustainable economy.
