Making Northolt more accessible

Residents are being invited to share their views on planned improvements at Belvue Park in Northolt, making green spaces in the borough more accessible and supporting active travel.

Last year, residents and businesses shared their views on Northolt’s Green Ring, a new 6.3km walking and cycling route which is planned to connect 6 parks in Northolt. Ealing Council and Trees for Cities are now holding a series of events to discuss the improvement ideas, including a new seasonal pond in Belvue Park to tackle persistent flooding in the area.

Come along to any of the events below to share your thoughts on the proposed improvements at Belvue Park:

The sessions are open to everyone, but please register in advance so the council can manage capacity.

Councillor Deirdre Costigan, Ealing Council’s deputy leader and cabinet member for climate action, said: “With this new circular route around Northolt, residents will be able to enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle, whether by walking, scooting or cycling.

“It will also improve connections between 6 of our main parks in Northolt, help clean up our air and prevent flooding by installing much-needed sustainable drainage to support our climate emergency actions.

“We hope to see you at the events so you can help us create a more beautiful and environmentally friendly town.”
