A number of additional pop-up vaccination centres have been organised to get your first, second, or booster vaccine jab in Ealing in December.
The best way of staying safe against COVID-19 is to get vaccinated. The majority of residents have had their vaccine, but there are still some who are yet to have had theirs.
Councillor Peter Mason, Leader of Ealing Council said: “Since the start of the pandemic the spirit of residents, of coming together and fighting this virus has been amazing and I am asking that we continue, now, at a time when it is more important than ever.
Councillor Josh Blacker, cabinet member for healthy lives said: “This time last year the first vaccine was administered against COVID-19 and it is now more important than ever to get fully vaccinated, which includes getting your booster to protect yourself and others against the virus.
“For me the only side effect has been a slightly sore arm, other than that I feel comfortable knowing I am as protected as well as I can be against COVID-19.”
Walk-up and get your jab
Additional vaccines slots are being made available so residents who are yet to have their first, second or booster jab can book theirs.
We recommend that residents book their jab, but anyone can walk-up and get their jab if they are over the age of 16 and have not had their vaccine yet or are looking to have their second or booster. If you do walk-up you may experience long queues.
• No Id
• No NHS number
• No problem.
If you are over 18 and had your second jab 3 months ago or longer, then you are eligible to get your booster. We recommend that residents book online through the NHS website, but there are a number of sites across the borough you can walk-up to.
12 – 15 year-olds can get their first or second vaccine, with the second jab being administered at least 8 weeks after the first. This age group must be accompanied by an adult and can get theirs at CP House or the Dominion Centre.
