Helping you to grow jobs fair

After the success of Ealing jobs fair in March 2022, visited by over 400 residents looking for work, you are invited to another jobs fair on Wednesday, 22 June from 10am to 3pm. Organised in partnership with British Land, the event is taking place in International House, 7 High Street, London W5 5DB.

Explore work opportunities by employers in the following growing sectors:

  • Construction
  • Digital and creative
  • Health and social care
  • Green economy (e.g. renewable energy, green buildings, sustainable transport, water and waste management).

Who can you meet?

Learn Ealing, Work Ealing, Ealing Council, British Land, Adecco, Jobcentre Plus, Joe Brennan Training, The Forge@ParkRoyal, Greener Ealing, Make It Ealing, Heathrow, Maydencroft, Shaw Trust, WarmWorks, Telford Homes, Ealing Direct.

The jobs fair is free to attend. All Ealing residents are welcome any time between 10am and 3pm. Please register in advance; it only takes a few minutes.

“With the pandemic’s long-term impact on Ealing residents and businesses, creating good jobs is one of council’s three priorities, as set out in our Plan for Good Jobs. In fact, we have committed to securing 10,000 new jobs in Ealing over the next four years.

“That’s why we are thrilled to bring you another jobs fair, connecting you directly to employers from sectors, more resilient to future economic shocks of the scale and magnitude of COVID-19.

11am – 11.45am

Employers often expect their employees to be respectful, hardworking and good team players.

Join this face-to-face session by Learn Ealing to familiarise yourself with some of the expectations that employers have and how they can help prepare you for a new role or to advance at your current company.

Introduction to apprenticeships

12pm – 12.45pm

Come and meet Ealing Council’s apprenticeship team and even some of our apprentices to learn how an apprenticeship can benefit you. Find out what employers are looking for, such as skills, knowledge and enthusiasm. Learn about the growth sectors and industries that you could become an apprentice in and how our apprenticeship team can help you get there.

Better maths for better employment

1pm – 1.45pm

A fun and informative taster maths session to improve your employment prospects. It will outline what you can do now if you didn’t have a good experience of maths at school and it’s now proving to be a barrier for you. The particular focus will be on the maths needs in the growth industries. Come along and learn how to love maths.
