Ealing Council is set to host its winter jobs fair this month, where job seekers can meet prospective employers and gain skills to help them get a job.
Whether you are a recent graduate, looking for a career change, or just curious about what jobs could be out there, there will be something for you at the fair.
The event will take place on Tuesday 22 October from 11am to 2pm at the Dominion Centre in Southall. It is completely free to attend, and all you need to do is sign up to register your spot.
Employers from both public and private organisations will be in attendance, ranging across different areas including retail, finance, hospitality, and more.
You will have the opportunity to talk to employers directly about their currently available job roles, what the requirements are, and how you can apply.
There will also be a series of workshops to help you on your career journey. You will be able to learn skills to help you ace interviews, find out how to search for jobs effectively, and how to write an impressive CV, application, and cover letter.
Councillor Kamaljit Nagpal, the council’s cabinet member for decent living incomes, said:
“We have committed to securing 10,000 new jobs in Ealing by 2026. I’m delighted that we are supporting our residents to find jobs that are perfect for them, giving them direct access to a range of employers under one roof, as well as opportunities to upskill through a range of helpful workshops – all free of charge.
“Don’t forget to mark the date in your calendars, and sign up today.”
