2023 Business Awards

Recognition for local businesses

A number of Ealing businesses scooped a series of accolades at the 2023 Business Awards, held on Friday 23 November.

The awards, held this year at the Clayton Hotel, Chiswick, are hosted by West London Chambers of Commerce, and businesses are nominated from across Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham and Hounslow. They are held annually to celebrate the growth, innovation and emerging talent found in companies in west London. There were 153 nominees across 21 categories this year, ranging from ‘Best Retailer’ to ‘Best Green Business.’ The awards open to all businesses in the boroughs of Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham and Hounslow.

The best of the west

Doubletree by Hilton, Ealing won Best Business for Hospitality & Leisure, the Community Support Award went to Ealing Trailfinders Foundation & Community Team and Best Charity/Social Enterprise was awarded to The Upper Room. The University of West London was also highly commended in the Education & Training Provider of the Year category.

Proud to support local business

Councillor Louise Brett, Ealing Council’s cabinet member for decent living incomes, and Councillor Peter Mason, leader of the council were in attendance to present the Award for Best Company for Community Support.

Councillor Brett said: “As a council, Ealing has committed to securing 10,000 new well-paid jobs and enabling more small and medium sized business to start up in the borough. That’s why we are working particularly hard to support businesses and promote economic development, entrepreneurial activity, and innovation, as well as supporting our growth sectors.

“And it’s why we’re pleased to be supporting the Business Awards 2023, and to be celebrating and recognising the achievements of local businesses.

“Congratulations to all the nominees and award winners for their contributions and dedication, and thanks too to the West London Chambers of Commerce for continuing to put on great events and giving us the opportunity to get together.”
