A train platform and the words Mind the Gap

Win an interactive dose of theatrical Hayfever

A pair of tickets to the opening night of Hayfever, a new London show, are up for grabs in a competition. The interactive theatre production gives you, the audience, the chance to decide the actors’ fates.

Roxane Cabussut, who lives in Acton, is the producer/director of the play Hayfever, which is opening at the Arcola Theatre (Dalston, E8) on 8 May.

She has teamed up with Around Ealing to offer readers the chance to win a pair of tickets for that opening night, worth £23 each.

Hayfever is a dark comedy that sees two police officers, Tom and Jerry, break into a London flat in the early hours of the morning and find their lives are changed forever – following an accidental murder…possibly in a supermarket, or maybe on a train platform.

It is an interactive show and audience members will play their own role, by helping to decide the destiny of the characters. They can even ‘zoom in’ to find out a character’s inner feelings by asking for a monologue or song at any time of the show.

But when will the truth be revealed?

Roxane is an acclaimed producer and one of the founding members of Emerge Production House. She originally directed Hayfever at the Playground Theatre in 2019. Last year, the play opened at the Peckham Theatre and has now transferred to the Arcola Theatre. She recently directed her debut short film called My Life’s Dream, and she also recently adapted a modernised and bilingual version of Romeo and Juliet directed by RSC director Aileen Gonsalves, which is now touring in the UK, Switzerland and France.
