Another successful year for Ealing Council’s 100-in-100 apprenticeships campaign has finished, meaning it’s time for people to apply for positions.
There were 106 pledges from businesses looking to provide apprenticeship opportunities across a range of companies and organisations including schools, nurseries, housing developers and restaurants. Full list here.
The annual campaign which has now placed hundreds of apprentices in positions provides businesses with a platform to openly express their interest in helping people build a career, including the ability to earn while you learn.
If you are interested in applying for one of the apprenticeship vacancies created from the 100-in-100 campaign, visit the council apprenticeship webpages for more information and a list of the current vacancies.
Ealing Council Apprenticeship Programme
Ealing Council also offers an apprenticeship programme with applications closing on 20 January 2019. Since 2007 more than 260 people have gone through the council’s apprenticeship scheme.
Each apprentice works within a council team and this year vacancies are available in economic regeneration, repairs and adaptations and elections services with more roles coming soon. Find out more here.
Some have then gone into full-time jobs with the council. Others have moved to employment, education or training elsewhere. It involves a one-year training agreement with an annual training allowance of £12,585 for a level 2 role, and £16,725.80 for a level 3 role which could lead to progression to further apprenticeship years.
