West Ealing Library will now be community managed

Becoming a library member

Become a library member and enjoy all the books, e-books, audiobooks, or online magazines and newspapers that the borough’s library service has to offer, you do not even have to be an Ealing resident.

If you work in the borough or are simply visiting, you can still become a member of the borough’s libraries, all you need to do is join. You can complete an online registration form or visit in person. You will need to make a trip to the library to collect your card.

Councillor Jasbir Anand, Ealing Council’s cabinet member for thriving communities (including libraries), said: “We would love for more people to sign up as a library member and benefit from this service. We have a great selection of materials to borrow and the beauty of it is that you can enjoy it from home or better still, come and visit in person for the full library experience.”

The service also hosts regular events and workshops and there are lots of videos to browse on its YouTube channel. These include local history videos.

So, why not take a moment to subscribe to the channel? Or, take a look at the Facebook and Twitter accounts for all the latest updates.

You can also find a monthly events and activities calendar online. And keep an eye out for details on how to join the library users’ choir group which is starting up again soon after a summer break.
