Business grants are available during the current national lockdown 5 November – 2 December 2020.
Local restrictions support grant
Businesses in Ealing that are ratepayers and had to close their doors because of the second lockdown restrictions can apply for the local restrictions support grant. This includes non-essential retail, leisure, personal care, sports facilities and hospitality businesses.
This business grant is dependent on property’s rateable value. For properties with a rateable value:
- Of up to £15,001 – £1,334
- Between £15,001 and £50,999 – £2,000
- More than £50,999 – £3,000.

National lockdown grant
Nightclubs and sexual entertainment venues will be entitled to the national lockdown grant.
This business grant is dependent on property’s rateable value. If the property’s value is:
- Up to £15,001 – £667
- Between £15,001 and £50,999 – £1,000
- More than £50,999 – £1,500.
Ealing Council has the data and will be contacting the relevant businesses. There will be no application process and there is no need to contact us in the interim.
Discretionary grant schemes
In addition to the two business grants above, there are two other discretionary business grants. Ealing Council is currently working to determine the eligibility criteria for both schemes. Details on how to apply will appear on our website soon. There is no need to contact the us in the meantime.
