We asked you to crown one winning picture from our past year of photo competitions as the overall winner – a champion of champions. And the votes are now in.
Our Love Your Place and Seasons of Ealing photography contests have had various winners over the last couple of years. And the last four contests have seen images brilliantly capturing Ealing at its best in all four seasons.
We asked our followers on the @EalingNewsExtra Twitter account to select an overall winner from these past four photo contests and a poll on Twitter closed on Friday evening (20 December).
The winner, with an overwhelming 58% of the votes was Roger Green’s photo of runners at the start line of the Ealing Mile in Lammas Park, which had previously been our Love Your Place: Summer winner back in August this year. You can see Roger’s photo at the top of this article. A worthy champion.
We want to find out which of the previous four winners of our photography competitions deserves to be crowned champion of champions. Pick your favourite from the selection below and then vote…

You can still view all four shortlisted pictures in our gallery, including the three runners-up:
• Northala Fields, by Malgorzata Sikora (spring 2019 winner)
• Misty morning in Stockdove Way, by Lynn Wilson (winter 2018 winner)
• Squirrel in Walpole Park, by Anthony Bennett (autumn 2018 winner).
Each captures a moment that made the entrants love where they live. That was the aim of the original competitions.
