Local people can find out more about proposals for the redevelopment of Gurnell Leisure Centre at two drop-in consultation events, being held on 30 October (4pm and 9pm) and 31 October (6.30am to 2pm).
The consultation events, held by Ealing Council and the developer Be, will provide an opportunity for the development team to explain the proposals to local residents and answer any questions they may have.
The proposals include a brand new, energy efficient flagship leisure facility, replacing the current Gurnell Leisure Centre, which is no longer fit for purpose. The state-of-the-art facility on the site will include a new gym, complete with a 50 metre swimming pool, a bmx and skate park, and new housing units.
The proposals also include new housing on Ruislip Road East because funding for the leisure facility is to be made possible by enabling this residential development.
Local people are encouraged to attend to view the proposals and discuss them with members of the project team. The aim is to incorporate this feedback into the plans before they are submitted to Ealing Council.
If you are unable to attend the event, materials from the consultation will be available online, alongside an opportunity to comment.
The consultation sessions take place at Gurnell Leisure Centre, Ruislip Road East, London, W13 0AL
