Are you looking to hire a venue in the borough for an upcoming workshop or event? Or maybe you have a space available for hire?
If so, you can head over to the Ealing Culture website for help. The site, which was set up by Ealing Council, hosts information on a variety of local arts, music, and cultural events and is now also offering a new service so you can list and search venues for hire.
The new spaces for hire pages on the website offer:
- a comprehensive directory of venues across the borough
- easy-to-use filters, making it simple to find the perfect space based on location and purpose
- venue websites and contact details for seamless booking
It invites creatives, venue operators, and community members to explore and take advantage of the opportunities available across the borough.
Rich cultural landscape
The borough’s thriving arts scene is a testament to its rich cultural landscape, fostering creativity, inclusion, and economic vitality. From the historic Pitzhanger Manor House and Gallery to local festivals and bustling community cinemas, it is a cultural haven that unites residents and visitors alike.
The new pages feature new listings of venues for hire such as community centres, theatres, faith spaces, galleries, classrooms, libraries, and more. The platform is ideal for hosting everything from performances, workshops, and film screenings to rehearsals, exhibitions, and professional studio recordings.
Venue owners are encouraged to add their listings, ensuring this fantastic resource continues to grow and serve the community.
Councillor Blerina Harshani, the council’s cabinet member for thriving communities, said: “I am delighted that this new resource has been added to our Ealing culture website. We are the first London council to create a venues directory for residents which includes non-council spaces, and this is part of our commitment to deliver the asks from our cultural manifesto.
“We hope this unique project will encourage cultural producers and the community alike to use these spaces and I look forward to more venues in the borough joining the list.”
Cultural manifesto
Ealing Council’s cultural manifesto, announced last year, is designed to strengthen the borough’s creative heritage and its artistic and cultural landscape. The culture website, which serves the spaces for hire pages, builds on these ambitions.
