Showcase your talent at Ealing Fringe

Are you a local artist, cultural group or community organisation? If so, we need you. This year Ealing Summer Festivals is branching out of Walpole Park to bring the festival spirit to local communities and high streets as part of a new series of events called Ealing Fringe.

After the challenges of the past year, we are ready to get out and celebrate what Ealing has to offer, but we need your help. We are looking for individuals and groups who would like to get involved by showcasing their talent, providing art and cultural activities and entertainment across the borough this summer.

If you would like to perform on our high streets, run an arts workshop from vacant shop, host a comedy act or put on a play in a community venue, we want to hear about it.

In addition to being part of our first Ealing Fringe festival, participants will have their activities marketed as part of the Ealing Summer Festivals and can apply for up to £500 in grant funding or in-kind support to help facilitate their activities.

All applicants will be considered for paid performances or activities at the Ealing Summer Festival Stage in Walpole Park, regardless of whether their application for funding is successful.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate that Ealing is their primary place of work /activity and must deliver their project in at least one of Ealing’s towns (Ealing, Hanwell, Acton, Greenford, Southall, Northolt and Perivale).

We are particularly keen to support activities that do at least one of the following:

  • promote and achieve inclusiveness
  • promote participation and engagement in the arts and health
  • strive for environmental sustainability
  • encourage the participation and / or engagement by children and young people
  • increase the amount of digital cultural activity that is available to audiences
  • support Ealing high streets or repurpose vacant empty buildings.

All events and activities must be COVID – safe and adhere to any government restrictions.

To get involved visit www.ealingsummerfestivals.com/fringe, download an application pack and apply by Wednesday, 30 July.
