Ealing Council leader Peter Mason has expressed sympathy and condolences with the borough’s Japanese community, following the the terrible events earlier today.

Councillor Mason said: “It was absolutely dreadful to hear the tragic news from Japan today, which I know will be of great worry and concern to the large Japanese community in Ealing and Acton. Democracy will ultimately prevail over violence. It may not feel like it today, but it always will.”
