This year will be the 25th Ealing Comedy Festival and, to help celebrate this milestone, it has given us 10 pairs of tickets to give away.
You can expect the usual high calibre of talent for this year’s five nights of fun.
The line-up will include Nish Kumar of the BBC’s Mash Report and Josh Widdicombe, star of The Last Leg and Josh; and an extraordinary 24 acts – one from each of the previous years of the festival – will appear across the gala nights (26-27 July).
Joining Josh and Nish will be the undisputed champion of surrealist one-liners, Milton Jones, fresh off the back of a colossal 109-date tour.
Meanwhile, former Ealing resident Shappi Khorsandi will be making a long-awaited return to the festival, following the release of her critically acclaimed novel Nina is Not OK, while award-winning US comedian Reginald D. Hunter will also be welcomed to the stage.
Other acts to join the line-up include Stephen K. Amos, Jo Caulfield, Paul Zerdin, Jake Lambert, Tom Stade and Joanne McNally, with many more. You can see the full line-up on the official web page.
Tickets for the shows, which will take place on 19-20 and 25-27 July in Walpole Park, are on sale. Keep up to date with all the latest news by following the festival on Twitter @Ealing_Summer and Facebook @ealingsummer
The festival is put on by the Event Umbrella on behalf of Ealing Council.
The competition
As you may have seen in Around Ealing magazine, we have 10 pairs of tickets to give away to readers: Two pairs for each of the five nights of comedy. All you have to do is ‘like’ the www.facebook.com/ESFcomedy page on Facebook by 4pm, Friday, 29 June (2018). Make sure you also send that Facebook
page a private message with your phone number, email and postal address so you can be contacted if you are one of the lucky winners.
The draw will take place once the deadline has closed, and only the winners will be notified. Names of winners may appear at www.ealingsummerfestivals.com. Employees of Ealing Council are excluded from the competition and may not take part.
