How did Ealing vote in the general election?

The three parliamentary seats in Ealing were won by the Labour Party in Thursday’s general election.

In Ealing Central and Acton, the Labour Party candidate, Rupa Huq secured the seat with 28,132 votes. The other candidates received:

  • Samir Alsoodani, Brexit Party, 664
  • Sonul Badiani, Liberal Democrats – To stop Brexit, 9,444
  • Katherine Crossland, Green Party, 1,735
  • Julian Gallant, The Conservative Party Candidate, 14,832.

Total votes cast for Ealing Central and Acton were 54,969. You can see the full results for Ealing Central and Acton on the council’s website.

In Ealing North, James Murray, the Labour and Co-operative Party candidate won with 28,036 votes. The other candidates received:

  • Henrietta Bewley, Liberal Democrats – To stop Brexit, 4,370
  • Jeremy Parker, Green Party, 1,458
  • Anthony Pickles, The Conservative Party Candidate, 15,767.

Total votes cast for Ealing North were 49,855. You can see the full results for Ealing North on the council’s website.

In Ealing Southall, Virendra Sharma held the seat for Labour with 25,678 votes.  The other candidates received:

  • Rosamund Beattie, Brexit Party, 867
  • Thomas Bennett, The Conservative Party Candidate, 9,594
  • Suzanne Fernandes, Christian Peoples Alliance, 287
  • Tariq Mahmood, Liberal Democrats – To stop Brexit, 3,933
  • Darren Moore, Green Party, 1,688
  • Ramadan Zulkifal, Workers Revolutionary Party, 170 

In Ealing Southall the turnout was 42,420. You can see the full results for Ealing Southall on the council’s website.

These three freshly-elected members of parliament (MPs) will now represent their constituencies in the Houses of Parliament.
