Ealing Council is continuing its conversation with local people about how to make the borough better by taking its Talk Future Ealing roadshow to seven ward forums; one in each of the borough’s town centres.

Each of the seven ward forums listed below will devote part of their meeting to Talk Future Ealing. There will be a short presentation from one of the council’s senior officers on our plans for the borough followed by a chance for those attending to ask questions. In addition, there will be displays, information to take away, as well as a feedback kiosk for people to look at before and after the meetings.

Residents may attend any of the sessions listed. You don’t have to live in the specific ward to be part of the meeting.

All meetings start at 7pm. The dates are:

• Thursday 13 September – Norwood Green: Havelock Primary School, Havelock Road, Southall UB2 4PA
• Wednesday 19 September – South Acton: Centre for Armenian Information and Advice, 105a Mill Hill Road, Acton W3 8LF
• Thursday 20 September – Perivale: Perivale Community Centre, Horsenden Lane, Perivale UB6 7NP
• Tuesday 2 October – Northolt West End: Rectory Park (Community Room), Middlesex FA, Ruislip Road, Northolt UB5 5FA
• Wednesday 10 October – Hobbayne: Mayfield Primary School, High Lane, Hanwell W7 3RT.
• Thursday 18 October – Ealing Broadway: Council chamber, Ealing Town Hall W5 2BY.
• Wednesday 31 October – Greenford Broadway: Greenford Hall, The Ante Room, Ruislip Road, Greenford UB6 9QN.

Councillor Julian Bell, leader of Ealing Council said: “I have enjoyed being out and about at summer festivals, talking to residents face-to-face about our plans for Ealing, as well as having the opportunity to explain some of the challenges we are up against. One thing that is clear is that most people want to do their bit to help and to improve their local area and we’ve hard some interesting ideas from people about what they could do to make Ealing better, as well as hear what many people are already doing.

“These ward forum meetings are another chance for people to take a look at Talk Future Ealing and have a conversation with a memer of the council’s top team about our plans.  Everyone is welcome.”

Residents that cannot attend any of the ward forum meetings can still have their say by going online to Future Ealing and following the links.
