It is almost time to use your vote in the general election – which is on Thursday, 12 December. Everyone registered will be able to vote for their preferred candidate.

All polling cards have now been distributed along with postal and proxy votes for those unable to attend their polling station on the day.

Where do I vote?

Details of your polling station, including a map, will be on your polling card sent through the post.

Alternatively, you can search for your local polling station using Ealing Council’s handy online polling station finder. The polling stations will be open for voting on Thursday, 12 December between 7am-10pm.

How does it work?

To vote in the general election you must be 18 years or over on 12 December, and be a British, Irish or commonwealth citizen.

In Ealing there are three constituencies – Ealing Central and Acton; Ealing North; and Ealing Southall – and each constituency is represented by one MP.

When you vote on Thursday, 12 December, the ballot paper will show the name of all candidates standing in your constituency and you will have one vote for one of those candidates.
