Vote now for your favourite spring photo

You can vote now for your winner of our third Seasons of Ealing photo competition. Entries closed at the end of Friday (4 May). We have picked an impressive shortlist of nine springtime pictures you sent us – and we are running a public poll for residents to select a deserving winner.

The idea was for people to enter their own snaps taken in the borough of anything of a spring-like flavour, taken during the spring months. We had so many images sent in – thank you to everyone who entered.

View the shortlisted entries

After the deadline for entries, a judging panel had the extremely hard job of narrowing the photos down – first of all to a longlist of best entries and then down to a shortlist of just nine. These shortlisted photos are being showcased in a gallery for you to take a close look at. Click here to see which one you like best. You can expand the images and flip through the line-up.

The nine shortlisted photos you can see in the gallery are:

  1. A parakeet nibbling away at some blossom in Walpole Park, by Dawn Guler
  2. Woodland bluebells at Perivale Wood nature reserve, by Anna Cheshire
  3. Walpole Park in May after a rain shower, by Pino Agnello
  4. Pair of robins on a garden gate in Acton, looking to build a nest, by Margrit Sessions
  5. Watering spring flowers in Northolt, by Sadia Makhdumi
  6. Dog in long grass in Cuckoo Park, Hanwell, by Shan McCarthy
  7. Blue sky, blossom and an ice cream in Ealing, by Caroline Page
  8. An awaking, stretching fox in an Acton garden, by Sheryl Hall
  9. Canopy of an old tree in Walpole Park, by Tasos Agritelis.
Now vote for your favourite

We want you to pick your favourite and then go and vote in our public poll on the Ealing London Facebook page.

The poll will close at 11.59pm on Thursday (10 May 2018) and the winner will be declared on this website the next day – so make sure you come back to find out who won. The winning photo will also be included in the June edition of Around Ealing magazine.
