A sunrise at approximately 5.15am, over Southall station, by Stacey Gaughan

Vote now for your favourite summer photo

You can vote now for your winner of our fourth Seasons of Ealing photo competition, for summer. Entries closed at the end of Tuesday (31 July). We have picked an impressive shortlist of nine summertime pictures you sent us – and we are running a public poll for residents to select a deserving winner.

The idea was for people to enter their own snaps taken in the borough during the summer months. We had so many images sent in – thank you to everyone who entered.

View the shortlisted entries

After the deadline for entries, a judging panel had the extremely hard job of narrowing the photos down – first of all to a longlist of best entries and then down to a shortlist of just nine. These shortlisted photos are being showcased in a gallery for you to take a close look at. Click here to see which one you like best. You can expand the images and flip through the line-up.

The nine shortlisted photos you can see in the gallery are:

  1. Ali Moosavi – summer festivals in Walpole Park Ealing
  2. Angella Baria-Gambling – child dressed as the sun for nursery summer concert Hanwell
  3. Damian Walker – sunflowers in Cayton Green Park Perivale
  4. Harpreet Gehdu – friend playing guitar in Northala Fields Northolt
  5. Liz Scarff – Bee on a cornflower at Gunnersbury Park
  6. Nick Henderson – Suki the dog in Gunnersbury Park meadow
  7. Stuart Scott – aerial photo in Walpole Park Ealing
  8. Toby Cross – early morning on Ealing Common
  9. Vahe Saboonchian – daughter in Pitshanger Park with sprinklers behind on the bowling green.

Now vote for your favourite

We want you to pick your favourite and then go and vote in our public poll on the Ealing London Facebook page.

The poll will close at 11.59pm on Wednesday (8 August 2018) and the winner will be declared on this website the next day – so make sure you come back to find out who won. The winning photo will also be included in the September edition of Around Ealing magazine.
