Watch Euro 2024 final on big screen

To celebrate England’s historic journey to the Euro 2024 final, the council is helping to bring football home – to an outdoor screen in Walpole Park.

Millions of people watched England take on the Netherlands in a nail-biting semi-final match on Wednesday (10 July), with the Three Lions claiming a 2-1 victory over their Dutch rivals in a thrilling match that had viewers at the edge-of-their seats.

Ealing Council is offering residents the opportunity to swap their sofa or the pub bench for the park as we host a family-friendly outdoor screening of the UEFA Euro 2024 final at Ealing Summer Festivals in Walpole Park.

A limited number of tickets are available on a first come, first served basis for the final against Spain at 8pm on Sunday 14 July. Gates open at 6pm; entry to ticket holders is guaranteed until 7.15pm. After this time, remaining tickets will be issued to anyone waiting without a ticket.

‘Get your tickets quickly’

Councillor Blerina Hashani, the council’s cabinet member for thriving communities, said: “Almost 6 decades since their last major international cup win, England’s men are through to the final of Euro 2024. This astonishing achievement is a fantastic chance bring the community together to celebrate as one – and what better way to do that by hosting the final on a big screen?

“There is just enough time for everyone to catch their breath from the excitement of the semi-final, book their tickets before we do it all again on Sunday. Get your tickets quickly and be a part of this historic final – we expect them to go quicker than a cold beer on a sunny evening.”
